Indentation Force Deflection (IFD)

Indentation Force Deflection (IFD) Before & After Aging

Indentation Force Deflection (IFD) measures the force required to deflect a material.

Why this test is needed

IFD defines the skin protection parameters of materials of construction.

How this test is performed

A disk shaped indenter deflects to 25% and 65% thicknesses of material and the force is measured.
